A New Direction for Humanity

The New Three Bonds of Social Order

All people should respect society, and abide by its common social laws.
The following three guidelines of social order and the five great human relationships
formed the basis of the Humanistic Constitution of old China,
and suggested the fundamental personal duties for all to follow.

The first guideline is the correct connection between a nation and its people.
This should be an orderly relationship where the ruler fulfills his or her duty
without ever placing personal interests or benefits above those of the nation.

The second is the correct relationship between parents and children.
Parents should be kind and caring in raising their young,
and the children should be dutiful to their parents.
This relationship should be respected and fulfilled as part of the law of Nature.

The third is the correct bond between spouses or partners,
which is how humanity began.
It should value mutual harmony and support,
and should be a good model of mutual supplement in life.
