Overview:

Join Dr. Mao Shing Ni for a practical and immersive workshop on the Clinical Application of the Eight Extraordinary vessels as a direct experience through the practice of the Eight Treasures Qi Gong. This one-day course is designed for acupuncturists who want practical tools they can use immediately in the clinic.

This course reframes Qi Gong as a prescriptive movement therapy, showing how specific movements activate the Eight Extraordinary Vessels to support pain relief, postural rehabilitation, stress regulation, digestion, hormonal balance, and long-term constitutional health. You’ll learn how to assess posture, breath, and movement as diagnostic indicators—and how to match targeted movements to common clinical patterns—so patients don’t just feel better on the table, but continue healing between visits.

Unlike generalized movement or wellness classes, this training is firmly grounded in clinical reasoning, safety, and integration with acupuncture. You’ll leave with clear protocols for teaching patients simple, effective exercises that reinforce your treatments, improve outcomes, and reduce practitioner burnout.

No prior Qi Gong experience is required. Whether you’re working with chronic pain, stress-related conditions, or complex internal disorders, this course expands your clinical toolkit and opens the door to deeper, vessel-based approaches taught through the College of Tao and Yo San University.
