Distinguish Between the Mind and the Spiritual Nature

Some people are very religious and have the highest piety

There must be a clear distinction between the mind and the subtle nature of life.
The mind is a function of the brain, its thoughts and attitudes are shaped by external circumstances.
The subtle nature of life is spiritual and thus beyond deep investigation, it is simply the Nature of life.

Using the mind has limitations, while developing the Nature of life has none.
We can limit our minds to the narrow level of thinking and feeling, or follow our higher spiritual nature for unlimited expansion.

Though numerous matters may contact our mind, allow none to contaminate our spiritual nature.
Our mind and subtle nature should cooperate peacefully.
Be aware of life's happenings, but never cling to or get stuck in any.
when our minds are allowed to indulge, a bounty of vexation arises.
