I hereby agree to the following: I understand that the practices presented during this retreat are simple, gentle energy techniques useful for stress reduction and relaxation. I understand that the Alchemy of Transformation College of Tao Retreat instructors do not diagnose medical conditions, nor do they prescribe or perform medical treatment, prescribe substances, nor interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional. I understand that the practices taught do not take the place of medical advice and care and that it is strongly recommended that I see a licensed physician or health care professional for any physical or psychological ailment I may have. I recognize that I may also choose to do physical movement, such as sitting, standing, and walking meditation, and I warrant that I have no physical or mental health conditions that would prevent my safe participation in all the classes offered at this retreat.
I knowingly and voluntarily waive any claim I may have against instructors and representatives of the College of Tao, Instructors or colleagues of the Alchemy of Transformation College of Tao Retreat , with whom I may engage in guiding and teaching me. I understand and acknowledge that my participation in all classes and all associated events is purely voluntary and I acknowledge my responsibility for exercising my own judgment in choosing to participate.
By this consent I knowingly and voluntarily assume the risk of any injury, be it physical or emotional, to me, or caused to others by me during this Retreat. This event will be recorded and made available to attendees afterwards; and may be broadcasted or otherwise reproduced in any manner. I agree to the use of my appearance without any compensation to me.
I have read the above release and waiver of liability and fully understand its contents. I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above. I hereby waive, release, and forever discharge, and understand that this Release discharges any and all claims and causes of action of every kind that I would otherwise have against College of Tao, including its officers, directors, employees, instructors, and agents (“Representatives”), or owners and staff of Yo San University, and the students of Yo San University whether acting officially or otherwise, including all claims for attorneys’ fees and costs.
