LAWS OF CHANGE THE FIVE PHASES OR ELEMENTS
The Chinese five elements are said to have evolved out of the two energies Yin and Yang. It is a system that has been used for 8000 years.
And is a predictive model of the dynamics of changes
Five elements is the name given by the I Ching for the relationship between the cycles of life on earth; the seasons of the year, the interaction between bodily organ systems, and the properties of medical herbs etc.
Wood – Rising, nurturing, beginning, development, inspiration
Fire – Expressive, manifestation, definition, action, dynamic
Earth – Balancing, supporting, centering, transmutation
Metal – Discerning, discipline, decisions, calculating
Water – Contemplation, calmness, accepting, forgiving, observation
Humans are subject to the same laws and are the embodiment of all five elemental energies. Each person is a composite of all five elements but with one core, dominant elemental type. This fascinating complex combination is further influenced by the balance between the energies of Yin and yang so that within our own core element We are mutable .You have the power to change, evolve and thrive in your life. Understanding our true nature and optimizing the energy within our dominant element helps us conduct our lives in a healthy direction

Creation Cycle
There are many cycles in Five Element Theory. There is the Creation Cycle, the Destructive Cycle, the Over-Controlling Cycle, and the Insulting Cycle.
The Creation Cycle, or Sheng Cycle, maps how how the Five Elements create one another.
Wood springs forth to initiate the Five Element Cycle, as it fuels and sustains Fire,
Fire is the catalyst, that transforms and transmutes Wood with its flame.
Fire's embers and ash generate Earth's soil.
Deep within the Earth are Treasures of Metal, and also we find Metal, high on Mountaintops, as Glaciers and snows, which reflect like Metal.
The snow melts and creates life-giving Water.
Water nitrifies Wood and the Cycle begins again.
Each Element relates to seasons, star systems, planets, directions, emotions, physical attributes, herbs, foods, tastes, smells, time, family members, and has a spiritual significance,
